Continuous File Reading

Activity Description​

Returns the data that was added to a specified text file, since it was last read.

note

After restarting the Actions Expressserver, the file is read from the beginning.

Output​

A ResultSet of the read data.

Settings​

  • Path – The path where the file is stored.
  • Host Name – The host name or IP address.
  • User Name – If required, the username of an account that has read-write access to the host.
  • Password – If required, the password of the account listed in the User Name field.
